Pulse New York - 2013 Preview

 
Pulse New York is just hours away. It opens to the public at Noon on Thursday, May 9th and runs through Sunday May 11th. You'll find Pulse New York at The Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, in the Chelsea district of New York.

Below are a few artists that you might not be familiar and they'll be on display at Pulse. If you get there early enough you might be able to purchase one for your art collection. It's always a good idea to arrive ealy for the best selection. Fair hours are Noon to 8pm on Thursday, 11 to 8 Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11 to 7pm. $20 General Admission or $15 for Students and Senior with valid ID.

A complimentary shuttle bus will run between PULSE and the Frieze ferry stop from Thursday, May 9 through Saturday, May 11 at 11 am – 8 pm daily. Sunday, May 12 until 7pm.

The Fair is divided into two sections and is comprised of a mix of established and emerging galleries vetted by a committee of prominent international dealers. The IMPULSE section presents galleries invited by the Committee to present solo project booths exhibiting emerging work created in the past two years.

PULSE Contemporary Art Fair presents PULSE New York 2012, a leading art fair dedicated to international contemporary art, from May 3-6, 2012, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. The last week in March is a big and exciting week for art in New York. Ten art fairs are schedule to run March 27th - 30th. If you're interested in contemporary art New York is where you need to be. Also, be sure to visit the art galleries around New York to view additional artworks. New York Gallery Guide

Most DiVA related events will take place at White Box located on at 525 West 26th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues. These events include, private parties, lectures and screening. White box will also host the ongoing VIP lounge and the information point for DiVA The Streets. A sample of the works on view in the container will also be on view at White Box. This program is at the discretion of the exhibitor. (White Box is a not for profit organization.)

New York Art Fairs / March 2008

March will be a terrific time to visit New York City. This year seven major art fairs will be open at the same time,
