Miami Art Fairs - 2007

Here's a list of Miami Art Fairs opening this December.

AIPAD Photography Show
December 5-9, 2007
Wynwood Art District, 31st Street and N. Miami Avenue, Miami. More than forty-five of the world's leading photography art galleries will present a wide range of work by 19th century, modern and contemporary masters.
Admission: $15
Preview: December 4, 6-10pm, by invitation only
Hours: December 5, 10-3pm, December 6-8, 10-7pm,
December 9, 10-6pm

Aqua Wynwood
December 5-9, 2007
Wynwood Art District, 42 NE 25th Street, Miami. Forty-five dealers with a focus on the west coast will be featured in this contemporary art fair.
Admission: $10 good for the week at both Aqua locations
Preview: December 5, 5-8pm (free and open to the public)
Hours: December 6-8, 11-7pm and December 9, 11-4pm

Art Miami
December 5-9, 2007
Wynwood Art District, 22nd Street & NW 2nd Avenue, Miami. Nearly 100 galleries from 17 countries – many of them established galleries participating in Miami for the first time. Art Miami is the only fair to offer VIP visitors the services of an art advisor. Art advisors invited by Art Miami will be "on call" throughout the show's run.
Admission: $15
Hours: 11-7pm daily, Sunday 11-5pm

Casa Decor
November 9 – December 16, 2007
1444 Biscayne Blvd, Miami. 30,000 sq. ft of space transformed into interior design concepts. This is primarily a design fair.

Hours: 11-6pm Sunday-Friday, Saturday 11-11pm

Design Miami
December 7-9, 2007
The Moore Building, 4040 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami. The Design Miami/Show presents Design Galleries, Satellite Exhibitions & Design Performances, Design Talks and Design Awards.
Admission: $5 to $15
Hours: 11-7pm daily

Fountain Miami
December 6-9, 2007
Wynwood Art District, 2825 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami. This is billed as a guerrilla-style art fair - under the radar, but highly influential. The artwork shown truly reflects the avant-garde and in-your-face attitude equated with the Dada movement. Fourteen galleries will be featured.
Admission: Not available at this time
Opening Night: December 5, 6-10pm
Hours: 11-6 pm daily
Reception for the Artists: December 7, 7pm-Midnight

December 5-9, 2007
Wynwood Art District, 2136 NW 1st Avenue, Miami. Six years since the first inception of GEISAI in Japan in the summer of 2001, this is the American debut of a fair that has been a launch pad into the art world for many emerging artists. Artist are selected by jury and not charged a fee. Sponsored by Pulse Art Fair.
Admission: $15 or a Pulse Miami admission

December 1-9, 2007
Design District, 3800 N. Miami Avenue, Miami. M*A*S*H is an all-media group exhibition taking place in a medical office normally assisting lower income residents. They will be featuring contemporary art.

VIP Opening: December 6, 8pm-Midnight
Gallery Walk: December 8, 8pm-Midnight

December 5-9, 2007
Ice Palace, 1400 N. Miami. Avenue, Miami. Organized by New Art Dealers Alliance. This fair features eighty-one dealers showing artists in the early thrust of their careers.

Benefit Preview: December 4th, 4-9pm

Photo Miami
December 4-9, 2007
Wynwood Art District, NW 31st Street and N. Miami Avenue, Miami. This fair features sixty international galleries, emerging and established galleries showing photographic art.
Admission: $15 for the entire run of the fair
Opening Reception: December 4, 6-10pm, by invitation only
Hours: December 5th, 10-3pm, December 6-8, 10-7pm,

Pulse Miami
December 5-9, 2007
Wynwood Art District, 2136 NW 1st Avenue, NW 21st Street, Miami. The fair will follow its successful invitational format, representing about seventy galleries invited by the PULSE Invitational Committee. This year it's located in new and better venue, and it should not be missed.

Scope Miami
December 5-9, 2007
Wynwood Art District, 101 NW 34th Street, Miami. 95 exhibitors from 28 countries, and a new 60,000 square foot pavilion to present the artworks. This is the fifth year Scope has been in Miami.

Sea Fair
December 1-9, 2007
Art on a beautiful yacht, docked at Miami Beach Marina, 300 Alton Road, Miami. European and American galleries will exhibit their finest works of art in this traveling art venue and restaurant.
Admission: Free with advanced online registration.
Hours: 1-9pm Daily, and Sunday December 9, 1-7pm

Zones Artfair
December 6-10, 2007
Wynwood Art District, 2214 N. Miami Avenue, Miami. The fair will again showcase Videos, Paintings, Photos, Sculpture, and Performances by a selection of established and emerging artists in an expanded space of 20,000 square feet. In addition, they are launching "TalkZones", a series of daily brunches, which will serve as networking spaces for art professionals. Located near Miami’s leading galleries and the Rubell, Margulis Collection.
Admission: Free
Opening Preview: December 4, 5-8pm
Breakfast Reception, Thursday, 8-1pm in conjunction with Wynwood Art District.
Evening Food & Drink Reception Saturday, from 8-11pm
Hours: 10am-7pm

The contemporary art itself contain around fifty types of distinct art form and this is the very older art form among all others. People who love art will surely love the contemporary art form and know about these inner types as well. As I am an art lover and like to visit the art shows which introduce me with some unique art work.
