Miami Art Week - December 4-10, 2017

One of the best weeks for Contemporary art in the United States if not the entire world. This year there will be nineteen art fairs in Miami and Miami Beach.

Here's a brief breakdown of fairs.

Art Basel Miami Beach - is held at the Miami Beach Convention Center is the largest art fair of the week, featuring more than 268 top galleries from around the world. Design Miami is a major design fair, located in the parking lot next to Art Basel Miami Beach.


SATELLITE ART FAIRS

  • Scope Miami, PULSE Miami Beach, and Untitled are also in Miami Beach. Some are actually on or near the beach; enjoy the ocean view!. Hotel-based art fairs in Miami Beach include Aqua Art Miami, INK, SATELLITE.
  • Superfine! and Pinta Miami, are located in Wynwood. af you're interested in Street Art, Wynwood is one of the top places in the world to see it.
  • Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami are located in The Arts and Entertainment District of Miami. NADA moves this year to Miami and the Ice Palace Studios and Prizm is also close by and between Wynwood and Downtown.
  • Art Miami - is moving Downtown and it's one of the biggest and most established art fairs; it's been around for years. Context is a sister fair and it's also moving Downtown. Miami River Art Fair is at the Miami Convention Center - James L. Knight Center, in the downtown Miami.
As usual it's going to be a week fabulous art, fashion, design and music. By the end of the week you will be on sensory and art overload. But, you'll love it.
