Miami and Miami Beach Art Fairs

With only two days to go, this tremendous week of contemporary art in Miami and Miami Beach is nearly over. I still have four art fairs to visit and I'm planning a return visit to another five. Next week reviews and pictures of the art fairs will start showing up in this blog, so check back.

One thing I can say now, start planning to visit to Miami next December. If you like art and mostly likely do, you should experience this major art event, in beautiful, warm and friendly Miami.

UNTITLED. New Art Fair On The Beach

The inaugural launch of UNTITLED. a curated art fair experience that will be held December 5 - 9, 2012 in the heart of Miami Beach's South Beach district at Ocean Drive and 13th Street. This fair will be a forum for international galleries and non-profit art spaces with a focus on emerging and mid-career contemporary art.

Opening on Monday night, December 3rd, from 6-9pm, with a VIP Private Preview & Vernissage First Look hosted by UNTITLED. and the Bass Museum of Art.

UNTITLED. will include an auction component powered by Paddle8 in which 3 donated works of art will be placed at auction with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Bass Museum of Art.

Here's a look at some of the artists you'll be seeing at this art fair and the galleries that represent them.

UNTITLED. will feature pop-up versions of the much-missed design district restaurant, Fratelli Lyon, and Wynwood's favorite neighborhood bar, Wood Tavern. This is good, because the art fair pavilion is located on the beach at Ocean Drive and 13th Street. Verge Art Miami Beach and The Wolfsonia Museum are close and in the vicinity.
