This section is designed for galleries representing two to three of their artists with new works, meaning that they have been created during the last three years - and are often even fresh from the studio.

Art Positions
The Art Positions sector is a platform for a single major project from one of their artists, allowing curators, critics and collector to discover ambitious new talents from all over the globe.

Art Kabinett
In Art Kabinett, galleries selected for the Art Galleries sector will present curated exhibitions in a separately delineated space within their booth. The curatorial concepts for Art Kabinett are diverse, including thematic group exhibitions, art-historical showcases and solo shows for rising stars.

Art Public
Art Public presents outdoor sculptures, interventions and performances within an open and public exhibition format at Collins Park.

Art Video
For the second consecutive year, Art Video will present works by some of today’s most exciting artists across two venues, inside the Miami Beach Convention Center and in the outdoor setting of SoundScape Park. Organized in association with David Gryn, Director of London's Artprojx, Art Video Nights will showcase 60 film and video works on the 7,000-square-foot outdoor projection wall of the Frank Gehry-designed New World Center. Selections drawn from the participating galleries of Art Basel Miami Beach include works by a wide array of artists, both emerging and established, from Latin America, the United States, Asia and beyond.

There is much to see at this art fair so plan to spend at least one full day enjoying all that is being offered.

More will be adding additional articles about Art Basel Miami Beach in the next two weeks, including previews of artworks and special events. As always, the best source for current information about art fairs is their own website. http://miamibeach.artbasel.com/
